Adam and Haley and the rest of the staff at Golden Root are incredibly helpful and dedicated to serving our community. I have received acupuncture and laser treatment for various issues over the years and always leave feeling better than ever. I would not have made it through my struggles with TMJ dysfunction if it weren’t for them, or a recent spinal injury. I am so grateful that we have these natural treatment options available here in Greenwood.

I encourage anyone that is looking for alternative medicine to go and check Adam's place out in Greenwood. He has had an abundance of training, is very knowledgeable, and has some of the best equipment in South Carolina! (The only one with a full body cryogenic chamber). He takes his time with each patient and his primary goal is full health and wellness!

After dealing with really bad back issues for over a decade and spending tons of money and time with doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapy I had given up. I accepted that I would never be able to run again or even sit on the floor to play with my son. Then one day a stranger asked me about my obvious pain. He suggested if I was willing to come to his clinic and let him give it a try. I never thought in a 100 years acupuncture would help me heal. They have done so much more than that though with laser therapy and a few other treatments. I am now back to my old self and exercising again. I even beat my 2 mile run time record I set 18 years ago when I was still in my mid twenties. Thanks again Golden Root. Can't wait to see what the next year brings me.

I worked with Adam for 2 years at Golden Root Natural Medicine. Adam is extremely knowledgeable and down to earth with all of his patients. He has extensive training in both Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine!! The clinic is extremely clean which is very important in a medical setting. It also has state of the art equipment for different modalities including cryo-therapy and colon hydrotherapy. Haley is also a wonderful asset to the clinic. She is great with her clients and is always furthering her knowledge with learning different modalities of treatment.

I would recommend Golden Root Natural Medicine to anyone. My personal experience at the store has been extremely positive. The owner has a wealth of knowledge about Indian and Chinese medicine. He continues to help me control my blood sugar and high blood pressure. The store has excellent facilities and equipment, which enhances the overall experience during your visit. You will also be impressed with the vitamins, herbs and books available at the store.

I cannot believe this Medi-Spa is here in GWD, SC. Wish I'd discovered the practice sooner. Doing the acupuncture (Adam) has helped my digestive issues, pain issues and boosted my overall well-being which is important in the face of Covid. I also do not enjoy the cryo-chamber but am highly recommending it for those with inflammation and pain. If I can do it, you can too. Give it a try or the laser therapy. Very pleased and will continue my treatments.
